Stand alone monitors are portable high resolution colour LCD screens that can be mounted in various places within a vehicle for viewing purposes. Stand alone monitors are typically used in conjunction with backup cameras, DVD players, GPS, and other mobile electronic devices. Buy small or a mini LCD monitor that are no larger than 5 inches in size. These 12 volt displays can be used in nearly any application to display any video source you need. You can easily add a monitor to the top of your dash, or in a storage spot.
